Seminar on chromatographic techniques in pharma API will be beneficial for chemists working with pharma companies, graduates and post graduates

Chromatographic Society of India with SIES Institute of Chromatography and Spectroscopy will organise a seminar on chromatographic techniques in pharma API on October 7, 2015 at SIES Institute of Chromatography and Spectroscopy in Nerul, Navi Mumbai.

The one-day seminar will be beneficial for chemists working with pharma companies, graduates and post graduates who desire to build a career in the pharma industry. The seminar will have lectures on various aspects of active pharmaceutical ingredients chemistry and analysis from experts. A live demonstration of important analytical techniques on GC, GCMS, Head Space (HS) accessory, HPLC and ion chromatography will be conducted.

Dr G Ramakrishnan, President, Chromatographic Society of India and Honorary Director, SIES-ICS, will give the welcome address. Dr V Chandrasekharan, Formerly Research Director, Kores Pharmaceutical and Chemicals Division will speak on the significance of analytical instrumentation in API development and manufacturing.

This will be followed by Dipak Shetty, Lab Manager, SIES-ICS who will speak on the use of GC and GCMS in API analysis. Dr Archana Bahuguna, Accutest Research Lab will give a lecture on the use of LC & LCMS in API analysis, Ganesh Ssarma, Application Specialist, Metrohm India will speak on the use of ion chromatography in API analysis, Ch Lakshminarayana, VP, Daicel India will speak on chiral separations by HPLC, R Raghunandan, Pharma Consultant on following ICH Q7 – Crucial for API quality, Dipak Shetty, Sajitha Nair and Sneha Nair will give live demo of GC, GCMS, HPLC and ion chromatography. Dr V Chandrasekharan will be convener of the seminar. Certificates will be handed to registered delegates.
