It will create a collaborative and integrated biology workflow from research and development
PerkinElmer, a global leader focused on improving the health and safety of people and the environment announced the launch of its Ensemble for Biology platform, an integrated informatics suite of applications for creating a collaborative and integrated biology workflow from research and development to quality assurance and control.
The Ensemble for Biology Informatics platform provides research organisations with the end-to-end informatics solution they need to reduce the time to discovery. This platform delivers enhanced data management and organisation, streamlined workflows, effective collaboration and subsequent connection with downstream development, while fully supporting regulatory compliance and protecting intellectual property.
The Ensemble for Biology platform gives biologists the tools they need for analysis, screening, and visualisation. It effectively incorporates the ability to search across experiments, compare multiple assay results and generate reports using drag and drop techniques, pre-made biology templates or templates created by the researcher.
Michael Stapleton, General Manager, Informatics, PerkinElmer said, “Biologists in pharma, biopharma, government and academic research can benefit from intuitive informatics that break down barriers to data sharing and scientific communication, for better collaboration and decision making across therapeutic research teams. The Ensemble for Biology suite is designed to enable researchers to collect, manage and share sample and assay data efficiently, as well as integrate assay outcomes with chemistry and downstream development, to improve productivity. This new product launch is just the latest example of PerkinElmer’s ongoing commitment to developing and offering high quality productivity enhancing informatics solutions to enable critical research.”
